BCT1812 provides a power supply IC with an output load of 500mA—1.2A in a 5V voltage environment. The IC has the characteristics of synchronous rectification, which can omit a freewheeling diode. IQ=40uA. Since it is a DCDC component, the heat generation can be much smaller than that of an LDO in applications where there is a large voltage difference between the input and output. At the same time, the IC has PWM+PFM two ways to control the switch MOS, so it also has relatively high efficiency in the case of relatively small load power consumption.
